A demonstration nursery, along with a collection of herbs and other species of medicinal plants, is located next to the Bioresource Centre. The nursery has a store of 40,000 seedlings, both TDEF and medicinal plants, which are sold locally and used in the preparation of herbal medicines for health camps. Exhibition pots labelled with the botanical and Tamil names of the plants are maintained for use in exhibitions at schools and other programs.
