Where possible Pitchandikulam Forest uses sustainable technology in all its activities. Examples of such technology can be found at Nadukuppam Environment Education Centre, where an integrated water sanitation system has been developed, solar panel technology has been established and organic agricultural activities are demonstrated.

By providing working examples of sustainable technology, people are being shown the benefits of a sustainable and healthy development of their communities.
